It helps you schedule your life according to your cycle
Men’s hormones operate on a 24-hour circuit. Women’s hormones operate on a 28-day cycle. MyFLO suggests work, exercise, food, social, and romantic-based activities that are most compatible with the user’s current hormone phase. This helps users to live according to their neurohormonal patterns, getting more done with more energy to do it all. With one tap, users can take MyFLO’s suggestions and schedule them right into their regular calendar system! We call this Cycle Syncing™.

It makes your partner ‘psychic’
Ever wish your partner could read your mind and know exactly what to do to please you? MyFLO users can sign up their partners for Partner Sync to let them know which hormones are running the show any given week. Based on this, the app suggests ideas for date night or what kind of foreplay she prefers during each phase of her cycle.

History

Beginnings
As a student at Johns Hopkins, Alisa Vitti was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, or PCOS. When her physicians gave her band-aid solutions to manage it, she discovered that food and functional nutrition addressed the root of the issue. After healing herself naturally of cystic acne, excess weight, and infertility, and normalizing her period, Alisa made it her mission to help other women to do the same.

Laughing Sage Wellness Center
Alisa founded FLO Living in 2002. At that time, it was called Laughing Sage Wellness, and it was a brick and mortar women’s health center in New York City. Alisa’s classes and one-on-one coaching taught women how to get regular periods, how to heal from menstrual disorders such as PMS, PCOS, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, and fibroids, and how to optimize fertility and heal symptoms of perimenopause or premature hormonal aging. Alisa created the WomanCode System to teach women how to balance their hormones with food and lifestyle changes.

FLO Living: The Virtual Wellness Center
Demand for the FLO protocol and classes grew so much that the center was constantly booked. To meet the demand, Alisa transformed her wellness practice into the first-ever online hormone health center to help women around the world heal their symptoms, get regular, predictable periods, and live in their FLO. FLO Living has helped thousands of women in more than 216 countries for over 14 years.
Alisa also started giving talks at business organizations such as TEDx, Google, S.H.E. Summit and WIE Symposium, and health and wellness organizations such as Functional Forum, Nutricentre and Omega Institute.

WomanCode: The Bestselling Women’s Health Book
In 2013, Alisa published her first book, WomanCode: Perfect Your Cycle, Amplify Your Fertility, Supercharge Your Sex Drive, and Become a Power Source. Since it was published, WomanCode has remained among the Top 50 women’s health books of all time.
With the release of WomanCode, Alisa appeared on many national media broadcast outlets, including CBS News, Lifetime, and FOX News. Alisa made history on the Dr. Oz Show by being the first person ever to discuss periods on TV. She did a demonstration using fruit jams to discuss period color and consistency, and what each means about your hormonal health.
As more and more women read WomanCode and took Alisa’s online classes, they asked for an easier way to track their cycles and know where they were in their FLO.
